The Person

Get to Know Andrew:

Andrew Pappas is a multi-hyphenate artist hailing from the south suburbs of Chicago. He is one of four brothers and one-half of a pair of twins. Growing up, Andrew threw himself at every creative endeavor he could find. After exhausting just about every artform possible, he found that he kept coming back to three things – acting, singing, and his camera.

Andrew saw his cousins perform in a community theater production of The Music Man at ten years old and credits this for sparking his love for acting. He remembers performing in his fourth grade talent show and playing in a Dr. Seuss revue in his school library in the fifth grade. Andrew got onto a proper stage in junior high and hasn’t left since.

He isn’t sure when he first started to sing, but what he does know is that his elementary school music teacher wrote in his yearbook to never stop singing, and he has a vivid memory of belting out Adele’s Rolling in the Deep in his grandmother’s car in 2011.

In the seventh grade, his required reading of The Outsiders motivated him to document the life surrounding him. He grabbed his iPod Touch, hopped on his bike, and started taking photos. Now, he shoots on a Sony A7III, and his photo work has taken him all over the Chicagoland area.

When he’s not at work, on-set, in class, or at rehearsal, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, Zoey. He’s a sucker for a buffalo wing. If you called his phone and he didn’t pick up, there’s a good chance he’s in a Call of Duty lobby.

Catch up with Andrew below – he loves connecting with new folk and thrives in collaboration. Don’t be a stranger!
